My name is Maria Capetillo, and my blog revolves around album reviews. In the future I hope to include some footage of me attending some of the most anticipated concerts. I’d treat it like a vlog. I’d continue it by giving my thoughts on what the artist had to offer to their audience and include how the stage design makes it or breaks it. However, albums will be my top priority. My budget also makes it difficult to go to all concerts, so they’ll be my “special project.”
Music is a huge part of my life and continuing to surround myself with different types of sounds will only inspire me. It’ll help me create some unique music myself, and this summer I’ll be able to put in 100% of my time on it. However, I’ll try to continue to update this blog as much as I can and see where it goes. I’ll even start to organize public playlist on Spotify and include songs from album I’ve reviewed on my blog. I’ll make sure to include a playlist at the end of any blog that has made it into those playlists.
I’ve been able to include a review on albums from artists from different countries like Japan and Korea. I’ve been able to listen to artist that I’d never heard of, and I hope to expand my taste in music by discovering albums that are popular in specific countries. I want to show my audience that there’s more than what you see in the U.S iTunes top ten. There’s so much to listen to, and I’ll try to make it easier for everyone. I want to be able to introduce people to artist that they never expected to listen to.
