so far…

As the semester comes to an end, so does this blog. I need to dedicate more time into this blog, and maybe it could become something great. Sadly, I wasn’t focused enough on running this blog due to my busy class schedule and constant studying. There’s also the situation our country is dealing with right now. I enjoyed being able to share my thoughts on some of the most popular albums that resided on the Billboard 200. I was looking for one special project and that was my first concert review vlog, but sadly the concert was postponed. I want a job in music, specifically producing. If I could get better at promoting my content, then when the time comes I’d be able to really promote my music.

On the days that I did update my blog, which were truthfully and tragically very last minute, these were my stats:

From the looks of it February’s content received the most views and visitors. The week that did the best was February 24th – March 1st.  My about me post was the most viewed post during that week with 5 views. Not the biggest number, but I was very thankful that someone took time to even look at my blog. The most popular review was my first one which was Map of the Soul: 7. Within the semester the review was viewed 6 times. Their fan base is amazing, and sometimes when one of them stumbles upon something related to them. Also, I posted it the day after it was released so many people were probably just curious as to what someone had to say about their most recent album. I’m just glad that someone decided to check out probably my most exciting post because I was looking forward to that album.

I could’ve been more consistent with my blogs, and I was terrible and promoting them. I’m very insecure about my writing, so I believe that held me back a lot. Now I know that I have to work on that, and learn to advance my promoting skills because… I really need that.

I hope everyone is being safe out there and avoiding any large crowds. Hopefully, things will go back to normal soon. Stay safe!
